In Castle Rock, Colorado, a sheriff’s deputy is being commended for saving a dog trapped inside a burning SUV. Douglas County Deputy Michael Gregorek arrived at the scene on January 22, as smoke poured from the vehicle. The dog’s owner was panicking, unable to reach his dog, Hank, who was locked inside. Gregorek smashed the SUV’s windows to rescue the frightened animal, and the body camera footage of the incident was released recently.
